This piece first appeared as a post on @wordsmith.a.r, shared quietly on 8 January 2017 under the title “🌼 and the rain.” In April 2017, those words took physical shape as a stencil graffiti work, anonymous, intimate, and fleeting.
The street version disappeared, but the message endured. Reimagined in canvas form for the CTRL ALT CREATE exhibition in June 2025, it remains the emotional core of Rebel Romeo.
